A cast acrylic lens maximizes legibility. The rounded corners give a smooth silhouette. Housed in stainless steel with an LCD display, the watch has a EL backlight. The Nooka C toggles to show the date. The Nooka Zoo design forgoes a radial dial by representing the progression of hours in a window and minutes in a 59-increment horizontal bar. This creates a graphic expression to the way we actually experience time - in a linear fashion.
