Marcelo works with artisans in his native Argentina, who use indigenous materials and timeless craft techniques. Many of the pieces are made of a metal called Alpaca, which is an alloy of nickel silver, copper and zinc. It is foodsafe. The horn and bone handles on the pieces are from cow, sheep, goat, or deer, and are naturally shed. The onyx is locally quarried and honed. Marcelo Lucini lives in Buenos Aires. The care instructions are simple: wash with soap and warm water and polish with copper polish as needed. Hagerty 100 is the metal polish recommended by Airedelsur.
